Presentation of CLI (Caller Line Identity)

Fido Telecom insists that all customers must present a valid CLI for outbound calls that are made using our services. The CLI must be:

  •  A valid telephone number that the originator can be called back on.  You must have the rights to this number and if the number is provided by a 3rd party carrier you must provide evidence of the right to use that number.

Or,

  •  In the case of hosted telephony and standard SIP trunk customers, the CLI may be withheld. Please note for any customer that takes dialler services, including a hosted dialler, or a dialler SIP Trunk, the CLI must not be withheld.
  • When forwarding / diverting calls you may forward the CLI unaltered.
